Her heart spills out on the snow
As everyone stands and stares
Watching her gaze and dream
In her head, dancing away her fears
Her heart starts to freeze
Cracks and then turns blue
Her face turns pale pink
Dancing away all that was true.
Her heart shrivels and dies
As everyones black eyes stare
Dancing in her dreams
Dancing away her fear.

this poem seems darker more experimental on the surface than some of your others - still well put together and interesting as ever :) |

Interesting write. The poem seems to be moving itself in a dance. :) |
