My lonely tree in autumn
Stands high in it's dispair
With blue leaves always blowing
Through her branches hair.
My lonely tree in autumn
Searches high for faith and hope
But it's pain is to deep
For it to be able to cope.
My lonely tree in autumn
With it's beautiful peeling bark
Shines with purple light
But is always left in the dark
My lonely tree in autumn
Stands so alone
Looking for a friend
Looking for a home
My lonely tree in autumn
With it's red maple blood
Drips oh so silently
As it searches for love.

But is always left in the dark'.
