So hard-------
Change.
But isn't that what life consists of?
And we changed apart-
Still love in our hearts-
But different-
Not as significant
as before.
More or less
We've become routine...........
Listening more to the murmur of the T.V.
than each other.............
and how long will we run from the truth?
How many years wasted ....
when we've already tasted...........
our own defeat?
We know it's over
Yet, unsure of how it ends....
too many kinks and bends
to straighten-----------smoothe
Just to lose....
to fight for something that is non-existant-
So don't resist it..............
The urge to leave.

| It's so sad. So many poems about people loseing hope and love. But it's good. At least when you get the nerve to leave you can start figuring out how to be happy. |
