You and the trail of broken hearts you leave behind,
But I secretly wish that it’s mine you’ll find,
You’ll pick it up for safekeeping,
And hold it close when you’re sleeping.

You and me were meant to be together,
To be with each other forever,
I really feel like we were destined,
I’ll be waiting for you around every bend.

It’s like I was in love when I first set eyes on you,
I’ll always be there to help for what you’re going through,
You’ve broken my heart more than once before,
And from them all I am still sore,
But never shall I walk out that door,
I’ll stick right by you even when I fall.
