Sad

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

My friend tells me that her husband has cancer,
She could not explain how she felt.. so i said "praying is your best answer",
She tells me his name is jay: he probably wont live to live to see thirty-two,
She says "Chris, what am i supposed to do?"

I told her that god has his reasons,
Everyone has a reason for being,
Jay will be a example to all of us
If he should depart from this world and leave us.

She tells me he wont be the same if he lives,
But she does not want to be the only one taking care of their kid(s),
I can only imagine the pain she is going through,
But all i can do is extend my hand and say i am here for you.

She says all this is driving her crazy, does not know what to do,
I say be there for your husband through and through,
Remember those vowels... Till death do us part...
So be there and show him your heart.

She says she is getting literally sick from the stress,
So I told her the stories i went through when my late aunt passed,
I know what it's like preparing for the worst,
But somehow get through it, listen to these words...

"Be there for one another and love each other."
