My Fallen Star

My Fallen Star

The stars hang in the velvet black sky tonight
Searching, searching I can’t find my star
It use to shine so bright with its beautiful light
Now it’s gone and I start to panic
Why can’t I find it, it should be here
It’s lost, gone, destroyed
Then I realize what has happened
That star was me, my life, my light, my hope
But all that was destroyed by his words
And no one will know of my inner death
For no one looks hard enough to see it
Why, why, why did you do this to me?
We could have had everything
But no, you only wanted to see my pain
To see me wither on the floor
Begging for your love that would give me life
And you laughed, oh how you laughed
That only killed me more
So now I know why my star has left me
It died with my soul and cried with my heart
Maybe someday my star will be reborn
When my heart has healed and my soul unbroken
But for now I lay dying under the black sky
With no sign of hope or life or love
Just like my fallen star

KNow exactly what ur saying but someday u will look back and wonder what u ever saw in this person anyway. Once the pain is gone u'll heal but whoever did this to u will have to pay for their own wrongs. U better know soemday it will come back on them.
well said here as u capture the agony of it all but what I really like is the fact that u didn't give up hope on going forward with your life.
luv, huggs, faith, hope, joy,
emy
