Desperate times,
desperate measures.
It’s amazing what you get
from life’s little pleasures.
The kiss of the blade,
the hug of the trigger,
the relaxation of the pills
that seem to get bigger and bigger.
Too much pleasure
can be a good thing.
Time can be over
before you’ve had time to think.
Kiss like you’ve never kissed before,
hug more and more,
relax like you’ll work for the rest of your life.
Pretty soon it all will just be called suicide.
