I've run from the truth
I've run from the past
I've run from everything
That ever had a chance to last
I've taken everything
I've given nothing in return
I guess its safe to say
My bridges have been burned
Friendships die around me
And they fade into the night
Lovers lain beside me
Quickly drifting out of sight
I stand upon a precipice
That overlooks my world
Every path that I have taken here
Has somehow come unfurled
On the roads that I have chosen
Some were narrow, some were wide
It seems as though I've traveled
Faster than the speed of life

Ah dear poet Naz, we have felt sometime, somewhere in our fast and active lives.....just as you have stated. But never fear, your day for lasting is near, for you have related. You are still a wonderer, with adventures left to be learned in your soul......Someday you will land, and it will be for awhile.....and slower than your speed of life! I wish you well.
