Is There Really a God?

Contributed by Stew on Monday, 9th August 2004 @ 02:01:13 PM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

Is there really a God watching us?
It's really hard to believe
Because of all the fighting and the fuss
There's so much lieing and decieve
So is there really a God up in heaven?
Who lets people be raped
And watches women be beaten
With little kids who get scraped
Is there really a God who could let all this happen?

Yes..there is really a God, and really a plan......and when I think I've gone as far as I can......and want to give up and throw in the towel......a direction is shown to guide me on the way, to see things differently and to know, I am not alone.

We are here but a short time, and this place is not heaven, cause heaven is home, so we do what we can, with what we have.

As long as we have free will (and God will not take that from us), there will be bad things like you described in this world. These are the fault of man, not God. Would you rather be a robot? I doubt it. The sin in the garden plunged this world into chaos, but Aspenglow is right. It will not last. Those who choose God now will be sure to know heaven later. If you want to know more about this, visit www.jesusjesusjesus.com. This site belongs to a friend of mine, and he can answer your questions better than I.

That is really a hard question to answer and the things that are happening in the world everyday leads one to wonder. i am a fatalist so i believe what is meant to be will be, good or bad. The real question has to be what is God supposed to do and why should he or she be responsible for what happens in this world? You just have to believe in what is the best for you in your own mind. Your poem posses questions i think that only you can answer for yourself and your feelings are quite evident by what you write. as i have said to you before always write what you feel and it is better for you in the long run. STAY HAPPY THOUGH, EVERYDAY OF YOUR LIFE XXX

aight dude... im not your everyday christian... im real... im not gonna treat you like your goin to hell... i was there before... doubtin god... gettin high... gettin drunk... stealin... all that great stuff... but dude... you cant tell me that you dont want to believe... cuz your obviously asking for someone to help you believe... i dont think you realize exactly what your asking... you want to know why god lets bad things happen... the reason is he lets us do what WE want... good or bad... so when someone gets raped or killed... its their god given choice... the same choice as when you decide to light up a joint... or go screw some chic... bad is bad and good is good to god... everythings the same... all we can do is believe in him so that way if someday god forbid something does happen... we know whats gonna be of us after we die... so if you wanna talk more... look up my info or email me at churchpunkrawker@yahoo.com... i really hope to hear from you....
