YOU SEE, I WAS IN THIS DARK, DARK ALLEY AND THERE WAS THIS DUCK THERE AND HE WAS LOOKING AT ME SO I LOOKED BACK AT HIM AND HE MADE A FACE AT ME; IT WAS LIKE A SCARY DUCK-LIKE FACE SO I KEPT LOOKING AT HIM AND I SAW HIM LOOKING BACK AT ME WITH HIS DUCK FACE AND HE JUST KEPT LOOKING AT ME AND I KEPT LOOKING AT HIM AND THEN HE STARTED GLOWING GREEN LIKE HE WAS RADIOACTIVE - CUZ THINGS THAT ARE RADIOACTIVE ALWAYS GLOW GREEN - AND HE JUST KEPT LOOKING AT ME AND GLOWING GREEN AND I KEPT LOOKING AT HIM WHILE HE LOOKED AT ME WITH HIS GREEN GLOWING DUCK FACE AND THEN HE GROWLED AT ME SO I GROWLED BACK AT HIM AND KEPT LOOKING AT HIM WHILE HE WAS LOOKING AT ME AND THEN HE GOT THIS LOOK IN HIS EYE AND IT WAS LIKE THIS RADIOACTIVE DUCK-EYE LOOK THEN HE BIT ME, EVEN THOUGH DUCKS DON'T HAVE TEETH, HE BIT ME, AND I WAS LIKE, "OUCH", AND HE JUST LOOKED AT ME AND THEN I WAS LOOKING AT HIM AND THEN I STARTED GLOWING GREEN TOO BECAUSE I HAD BEEN BITTEN BY A RADIOACTIVE DUCK AND NOW I WAS RADIOACTIVE AND I STARTED GRADUALLY MUTATING INTO A DUCK BECAUSE WHEN SOMETHING RADIOACTIVE BITES SOMEONE, THEY ALWAYS MUTATE, AND I WAS LOOKING AT THE DUCK AND HE WAS GLOWING GREEN AND THE DUCK KEPT LOOKING AT ME AND I WAS GLOWING GREEN TOO BECAUSE I WAS MUTATING INTO A DUCK AND NOW I HAVE FEATHERS IN PLACES WHERE I DIDN'T HAVE FEATHERS BEFORE.

I always wished that I could have feathers in places I didn't before. :P Definitely a mind trip just minutes before midnight--though I suspect it would be a mind trip, anyway. Looking at me, looking at him, looking at me, looking at green.... Oye vey. I think I'm going to fall out of my chair. Feel free to share... whatever inspired this piece ;) |

Wow, that is impressively funny! I am smiling right now. I love how you told this story, and also how you capitalized all of the letters. It gave me a feeling like you were telling this story, to one of your friends, while you were all drunk. Nice flow. I love the subject of the story as well. Teenage Mutant Duckie???? LOL! I've never heard anything like this before. Very interesting.
Be True,

Bizarre and breathless - you won a poetry competition for this??
*bemused*
It certainly sounds like it erupted from the mind of someone whom communicates with . . . with alacrity.
Keep writing. |
