Things are very bad
getting worse by the day
Senators Kerry and Edwards
please try to find the way
To get rid of this administration
that led us into war
Keeping the average American citizen
from buying at the store
The economy is the worst
with the nations largest debt
Our soldiers dying daily
and not being able to come home yet
How long will this nation suffer
with more lies over and over again
Why won't Bush and his cronies
tell us the truth now, and not then
Enough is enough for the people
the time to go is now, for sure
The population has suffered enough
how much more can they endure
Please we beg of you
put this nation back on its feet
So everyone in this wonderful country
will finally get a good nights sleep

I have mixed emotions bout the war but I'm certainly not pleased with our president for many reason. Number one being in the beiginning of the war when he heard bout our soilders dieing he was too eager to say we gonna have causalty's of war.
to me if our president has little compassion for our soilders then how can he have compassion for the normal American?

This poem was wonderful. It had fire, passion, truth and rythem. It made me think. Not that I believe that Kerry is the answer. But it made me think. You capitured the essence of what a majority of our nation feels. Excellent piece.

i like this poem. i hate Bush. he stole our money!!!!!!! my grandfather, he is retired, won't get as much retirement money because of him!!! i bet you feel the same way, huh? he makes me so mad!!! and all he does is rise prices and not salary!!! anyway great write.
