The Blame

Contributed by Bitterkel on Wednesday, 30th October 2002 @ 06:00:00 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

Who’s to blame for all the lonely nights?
Tears, pains and eternal fights

Who does the finger of blame point to in the end?
Love, hate, or you my friend

Blame never comes with a lightly spoken voice
But with shouts, curses, and a demanding choice

Blame never gives satisfaction to the guilty soul
But openly gives lies, deceit and utter control

As we stand pointing blame to one another with a guilty mask pasted on our face. Blame points to hate and destroys the love, which is bitter to the taste

Shouts and curses come streaming out of our mouths with vain affection, and demands start to form a blamed creation.

And in rage we walk away with a sense of false satisfaction. Blame creates lies and a deceitful heart has no reaction to the control that blame has taken and a wall through our love it’s making.

Who’s to blame…Blame itself is to blame for the lonely nights and the inner uncontrollable fights. My heart has awakened and you are no more for my taking. So point blame at me, while I go and fill with my tears the sea.
