Elavator music plays in the background of this dream,
I watch a black and white performance of what used to be,
two lovers desperate for one another,
embrace seductively,
the memories of you and me,
Strangely,
I no longer feel the fire that once sent me into to a spiral of rapture,
or the desire that had me begging for release,
Suddenly
the scence changes and I am reminded,
of the pain, anquish, and tears,
the mistake you made irreversable,
and I have no intention of forgiveness,
I see your smile but am not longer plagued with longing,
I feel your touch almost as if I am there,
but I feel numb inside,
your touch leaves me cold,
for I am now alone,
because of your weakness,
and pitiful exsistance,
I am hollow,
you took everything from me,
in a single night,
I'm not interested in appoligies,
or your regret,
I won't comprimse.
