Serenity and Edymion
(This poem is based off the manga (comic book) Sailor Moon by Naoko Takeuchi Volume 3 page 26-27)
With a shot to the back and the plunge of a blade,
Their love abruptly ends.
Separated by the dark waters of time,
They hear whispers of long ago.
Whispers of secert meetings,
A love that couldn't be.
The sounds of laughter,
And tears float around them.
Standing on the river's banks,
They wish for one last
Kiss and embrace.
Like smoke swirling in the wind,
They fade away.
Both longing to see the other,
JustOne last time.
They contine floating on the winds,
until their souls meet in a different
Time and place.
