You know...
You are a special someone that I love...
A special someone in my life
You are the only special someone that I think of... each and every time...
I gaze upon the beautiful hues that an evenin' sunset leaves behind
As it spreads out it's colorful rainbow across the twilight sky
As far as the eye can see... the ever changing rainbow's palette of color greets me
It's as ever changing as your life seems to be
It changes from blue to red...
From red to orange...
From orange to yellow...
From yellow to gold...
From to gold... to the purple sky of night
Where every star shines perfectly bright
And the pale moon shines softly down
To illuminate the dark spaces in your life
As I stand here gazing at the beauty of this sunset's magical grace
I turn to see your face...
And notice that it matches the beauty in your eyes
As I gaze upon Helen's sunset in the western sky
But there are clouds hanging low in your sky of blue
The storms of life are... once again... closing in around you
Bathing the beautiful sunset in a heavy mist of sad... sad blue
And my only thoughts are of you...
With Helen's sunset...
Still fresh in my heart and upon my mind...
I kneel down... with only one purpose...
Only one thought in time...
A prayer for you... is whispered into the wind
For the Lord to bless and keep you strong... and then...
For Him to hold you so close and tight in His ever loving arms... tonight...
And for Him to protect you from this life's many perils
And from all its hate and harm
And to keep your eyes as bright...
As the evenin' sunset's light
And to keep it shone with an ethereal gleam
That's always been in your beautiful eyes... it would seem
Since the day... I first met you...
I've seen it there...
I've felt its touch...
I've seen its stare...
I've felt its love to share
I've heard it speak... with love so sweet
And now from above...
I see it shining from God's sunset of love
That's been named just for you...
Helen's sunset...
'Cause you're a special treasure to God and to me too!

How very lovely......indeed! This was a very touching poem.......emotional, but can be felt in your reader's heart very much!
