My eyes met hers and hers did mine,
beneath the full moon as it did shine.
There we stood upon the roof above the people, above the cars.
There I held her in my arms below the moon, below the stars.
There we watched as stars burned bright,
Togther with the moon they filled the sky of night
With beauty far greater than any sight.
And what better way to end that night,
Than with a tender kiss covered by moonlight.
