In retrospect I understand
how life does lessons teach,
and of the number I have learnt
here are two that serve me well.
First: it that matters not
how many times I’ve walked
through my own hell,
each time I did
the me who found the exit
was much more stronger
than the me
who first had entered.
Second: that after death
once again does life begin;
and here too it matters not
that I’ve being dead inside
a few more times
than I had felt I’d wanted to
when I was there to feel it,
for I have died
and been reborn
a better model than before.

Oh - good for you, Jordan! You're strength is apparent in this write. Hard lesson, yes - clearly conveyed here as, too, is the obvious fact that you have learned well.
Nicely done!
