sinking

Contributed by dizza_13 on Sunday, 8th August 2004 @ 07:33:08 AM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

I cut myself and the blood runs free,
All the pain is released from me,
But that still just doesn’t do enough,
Well as walk along the wooden dock,
I walk right through, the average flock,
And they see all the hatred in me.

Well the children run and the adults scream,
And the oceans surface gives of no gleam,
Cos it has faced my same sting,
And it knows, that’s what the future brings,
I can feel its torment as is sings,
And it shows me all the things,
That I thought were just in me.

Well I draw closer to my end,
My perilous life without a friend,
And wood is cutting right in,
To the tenderness of my skin,
And alone I walk through the day,
To the one and only way,
That I can free myself.

Without your love I can feel no will,
To live but instead to kill,
And I take my finally step to the edge,
I make sure that I have a pledge,
That I’m doing all this for you,
As I fall into the murky sea,
I can see all my blood running free,
And the ocean is turning crimson.

Now I sink below the murky deep,
I am now for the sea to keep,
And at last in my life I don’t feel sad,
And I’m thinking that this ain’t so bad,
Now all the lights are all faded,
And I’m starting to think that heaven is over rated,
In the end I feel the chill,
And its like time standing still,
The thoughts of death pulse through my head,
Then suddenly I’m dead.
