My Poems

Contributed by Mick_Puttock on Saturday, 7th August 2004 @ 04:49:07 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

These poems they don’t flow no more
They are hidden within these tears
For even within these few months
Losing you… was my greatest fear

I showed my heart, so open, so true
But just what did this achieve
All it seems is freaking you out
Honesty… just doesn’t succeed

Now for you within my presence
You’re uncomfortable is what you say
So for now out of love and respect
My distance… I’ll keep right away

My heart it is hurting deep right now
But I hope that some day real soon
Our friendship can start over again
And my tears… can leave this room

I am sorry for your anguish. Hopefully life will come back around and improve. We were never promised life or love would be fair, so we just have to go along for the ride.

If it's meant to be, it will happen. I hope for your sake, it does. I liked this but I'm sorry it ended the way it has. Keep faith, Mick. Peace to you and your family.

Writing from the heart is one of the best ways to help you through, and though this poem is filled with pain, I hope, Mick, it gives you even the slightest amount of relief to post it ... it has certainly been one of the best ways for me to deal with the hurt that seems to come with loving someone. I truly hope that one day all your dreams come true ... you certainly deserve it. ... hugs Jan

Wow Mick guess I have some catching up to do here.
Hang tuff, my friend, If this person can't see the beuaty into your beautifull soul then the loss is there's. I'm sorry u r are hurtting but hang tuff, my friend as everything i see in u has un matchable beauty.
Being a single father always makes u a great person inside as I raised my children without the help of their father in any way. To see u dedicated to your children and this site then someone is very foolish to let u slip away.
luv, huggs, smiles, faith, hope, joy cometh in the morning,
emy
