Turn my weathered pages
and read me, if you please,
of how I trod the road of life
and sailed its stormy seas.
The chapters on my darkest days
are really very small,
the load I had to carry
I wont dwell upon at all.
I much prefer the chapters
where the sun begins to shine,
my soul began to quench its thirst
with blessed heavenly wine.
I've really not been finished yet
there are pages left to right,
so watch this space
and you will see....
continued tomorrow night!
