Paths before me,
wrought with darkness,
lifeless trees in winter.
Reminiscient of the headless horseman,
race against the clock
as the demons pursue.
Where are you... where'd I go?
When will I finish... how will I know?
Just let me let go.
Paths branch off,
each darker than the one before,
more perilous predators.
Launch death at me,
I'm not afraid,
living holds more pain.
Where are you... where'd I go?
When will I finish... how will I know?
Just let me let go.
All paths have an end,
but mine all end the same,
me, lifeless in the snow.
I bore all you threw,
I took all the blows,
now I'm broke.
I left you, I'm gone.
It's finished, I know,
I let me let go.

It sounds like you are going thru a tough time emotionally. I really felt for you in this poem.
