The Storm

Contributed by Luka on Friday, 6th August 2004 @ 11:49:32 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

The storm comes in
Rises from within
the dance of anger
Has yet to begin
It starts with emotion
Building on pain
Burning with rage
Down pours the rain
Pounding it's rhythm
To the fire that burns
A trail of destruction
Your soul soon learns
The ending comes quickly
As the battle wears on
The war has ended
Your spirit is gone
Destroyed by the storm
Where anger is born
Leaving your world
Shattered and torn
Broken pieces
A life we cannot save
Ending in sorrow
from the torture hate gave

Wow!

The rythym is absolutely killer in this piece, and the matching rhyme really adds to its overall grace. It's such an exciting piece to read...i had to read it a number of times to full appreciate it.

I look forward to more of your work

Great Great job
