The hair in front of my eyes,
singed and jet black.
I hear my name,
people are waiting for a response.
I lift my head,
and show my
crookedly evil smile
through the curtain of hair
hiding my face.
They want to know if
I will stop.
They want to know if
I am sorry.
They're all asking
about the people
I killed by
digging their hearts out
with my fingernails.
I don't have to reply,
for soon they will die too.
But I do, of course I do...
A single phrase is
all that’s needed.
"No. You aren't sorry enough."
Sorry for destroying me.
