as I stare into the depths of your eyes
and my emotions spill out in a cascade of tears
And I’ll believe you
Because you believe in me
But then I start to remember
All the times I’ve heard the same
And all the physical scars I have to prove
Sometimes love isn’t worth the pain
And I want to believe you
Because you believe in me
Trying to take down this wall around my heart
And it’s poison in my veins being too afraid
But it’s gotten so immense I don’t know where to start
Trying to breakaway from this distant and lonely façade
And I wish I could believe you
But I’ll never hold you in my arms
Because my head is far to stubborn
And I can’t control my heart
And I am dieing to believe in you
Because you believe in me
But no matter how hard I try
You can never be a part of me
I’m not expecting you to understand
As I place this rose into your hand
As I whisper to you softly:
Without you I will die inside
But with you I cannot stay
And with all of me I’m sorry…
But it has to be this way

| That was so good, like I loved it, wowzers yeah. That was so awesome. I loved the sad ending cause that's how life is.. as my friend said "it's not all butterflies and roses". So yeah.. awesome job! |
