Whats The Point In Living?

Contributed by willow_tara72002 on Friday, 6th August 2004 @ 01:03:44 PM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

Whats there to live for
Suicide, murder,depression,war
Whats worse, all this and more
Disease and pain, no help, desdain

Your living to die,
Everyday people cry
Crying for those they loved and lost
So tell me how much a life costs
Because mine seems like nothing
Nothing worth living

Im scared of what the future holds
Scared of the pain that will unfold
I see the lives of everyday people
I see the stress they carry
Soon their bodies they bury

I dont get the point
All you do is live in pain to die
Then cause others pain by your death
Im questioning why i should live
Iv nothing left to give
Everything keeps getting worse
Living my life is a curse

Abusive brother, Parents never accept me,
Im a failrure to everyone, I know what they say
I know they talk about me everyday
Saying im ugly, I dress like a boy,
Im nasty, and gross, they call me a dyke
Cause im a girl that likes girls

So whats the point to life
No i dont believe in god, So now ill burn in hell
I would anyway because who i am, I am in hell

I peirce my body and my face
At 16, This is my life, To me its a waste
I shouldnt be alive, I should be dead when i drowned
I hate that he saved me
I hate my life and who i am,
I wish i was dead since it began

I used to feel exactly like this., at 16, life can be so cruel and nasty but it can also be great.... you have been having it rough of late and I am sorry for your pain Amber I really am *hugs* it's a good release to get it all out and down into a poem, cos I know when I am feeling crap it makes me feel a whole lot better... a problem shared is a problem halved so my mum used to say :)

takecare of yourself hun,

pixie xx

great expression, a very sad and moving write

This is filled with pain, anger and despair.

I could tell you that up ahead way past 16 your life could go anywhere you chose but....I think dealing with the here and now seems overwhelming for you.

Your life isn't a waste. You can write, descriptively thats a huge talent. It can be your closest confidante.

Hang in there......

Kie

Ya know.....that's exactly how I feel sometimes.....and then someone sweet and fair smiles at me.....and I say.ok just one more time!!!!!!!

Tis not the frowns I seek nor dwell long upon, but in the smiles I do ache......and that pain is such a feeling, I got hooked on and so deep.

So the rest of them can all kiss the place where the Sun sees not you see......cause I have better things to kiss, cause in kissing one can be free.

I liked your poem, thank you for sharing.
