At the tender age of six she knew it all
He would never call, Never call
she knew to much
They would never touch
The death was hard on her
it was a real blur
the funeral was a sad affair
She really thought he would be there
The angels were all crying
she also felt like dying
She called out Nick, Nick where are you?
she was feeling really blue
She remembered he was only five
he was afraid of the bee hive
He loved trains, boats, and chocolate cake
She felt like her heart would break
she remembered all the terrible pain
yet he never did complain
dying young is such a crime
on this earth so short was his time
Nick is in heaven now
around his grave the flowers grow
always in my heart he'll be
living though eternity
