The Valley
He caught the scent of dreadful fear,
Held out his hands, I shed a tear.
His laughter sounds extremely clear,
As he notices my despair.
He's my prince upon the throne,
His lips are cold, his hands are stone.
Blood rushes in a lifeless poem,
There's nothing but the flesh and bone.
I wanna touch him really bad,
Take the Sorrow, take the Black.
I hear his plead and move away,
Please, don't let me die today.
Reality fades as he strokes my hair,
He tells me I'm dying but I don't care.
He looks down at me and I could swear,
I've never seen a person so fair.
I close my eyes and take the last breath,
As I linger here in The Valley of Death.
