Falling down between the fractures
I’ll crawl inside this fear
tenderly, gently I am weeping
Quietly slips a single tear
As wingless angels we all fall softly
On the bloody fangs of hell
And we’ll wake up frozen, full of emptyness
All buried in the ashes well.
The longing of the simple things
Will haunt me in my wake
Until the day I reach the grave
And all shall fade, all shall fade
You’ll linger inside my reveries
To tell me I was wrong
As I sweetly hum the haunting tunes
Of the dead and gone
