You lived your life day by day,
Looking for a better way.
A heart bigger then any,
You will be missed plenty.
Your words have touched so many lives,
I know they've touched mine, one summer night.
You left this world to early,
And we will all miss you Mattie.
Just thirteen years old,
And a heart made of gold.
Your words, will never grow old.
Your words have lifted,
Many spirits up high.
Just as they,
Brought tears to the eye.
So I say goodbye,
And rest in peace my poetic friend.
As I hope to meet you,
In the end.
