I Imagine

Contributed by zenmind on Thursday, 5th August 2004 @ 01:27:18 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Tying twigs to leaves
and molding my soul with clay
There is only what we can imagine

I imagine mists along railroad tracks
and old bums hopping cars
sleeping wizards flirting with beautiful girls
walking alone

I imagine that I could be all of these
and maybe more
I imagine that something is beyond
what we can see but I know it is there
pulsating within me
and around me

I imagine that I am not limited to form
but exist in alternate planes of reality
and God is in all

I Imagine that nothing I imagine matters
because all possiblities exist
and I change nothing

It is only what you see that reminds you
of when you were young
and knew that nothing matters
because nothing ever happened.

"I Imagine that nothing I imagine matters

Very deep, and stirring in a very good way...
Very well-written, and well-thought...
And very (insert positive adjective here)

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
