I'd Rather Be All Alone

Contributed by emeraldeyes on Thursday, 5th August 2004 @ 12:31:50 PM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

I'd rather be all alone
than here in this * up home
If you want the truth, I'll lay it down
I'll be happier with you 6 ft underground
I'll tell you, life was better in a drug induced daze
than being here with you under your constant gaze
* your grace, forgiveness, the golden rule
you are fake- you left me in a bloody pool
Bleeding- cuts from your accusations
my pain bringing you gratification
So, why did you bring me here? to see the tattered frame
of your daughter, your sister- you call insane
Just because I chose to live for me
I became the enemy instinctively
You stomped on me while my mind was frail
you took all I had to love...true betrayal...
You can have my money, and pretty things
but you NEVER had Dad- or my dreams
I am leaving now, the bridge- it fell
you can all go to hell
* this place you call home
I'd rather be all alone

very sad poem, that you feel that upset and angry that you would rather be on your own, *hugs*

This truely is a work born of pain. i hope this is an old poem and you have gotten past this hatred. i know what it is to be angry but please don't let it consume you.
