Imminent Goodbye

We're talking like we're strangers
In these last moments
But I've never been closer
To my truths
Than wrapped and unravelled
Here in your arms
And if the sense in me
Is flying out the window
Then give my heart wings
And I'll follow the non of it
Cause I know
That's where you'll be
And whilst I'm discovering
The new taste of sadness
Neath you and your departure
I'll stay here
In these arms
For as long as time allows
And speak with your tongue too
Conversing like I know nothing
Bout myself or you
Perfect in the beautiful strangeness
Of our meeting
And imminent goodbye.

Hadn't seen you on in a while and decided I'd better check out your latest. Course I wasn't disappointed one bit. This is wonderful. I love the way you put words together.
