I only wanted
To do it perfect
It's only left me
Feeling counterfiet
So many things
I was gonna change
Gonna be better
In so many ways
I wish back then,
I could've looked at me now
Small and broken,
Thought I'd figured it all out
So much has changed
In two years time
Lost all of the things
I thought were life
Now I need to glance ahead,
Be sure of what will come
During my next two trips
Around the sun
I am left searching
Eyes scared and confused
So fearfull of everything
I feel I'm set to lose
I feel like the World
Inside of me has died
But I'm doomed to live on
With a painted smile

Very detailed in the way that your emotions are clearly visible to the reader, me, very nice write. Living as a shell of a human being isn't that fun, i know, i have been there too.
