Always on my mind…
Images of you and I in an eternal embrace…
These feelings, mutual and fervent…
An unconditional love that goes beyond all else…
You weep, and I drown in your tears…
You smile, and I am blinded by its brilliance and beauty…
You kiss me, and Time stands still…
Lost forever in your eyes,
Floating upon a boundless sea of your thoughts, emotions and fears…
I hold you in my arms, and I believe I’m holding Heaven…
Our hands intertwine,
Dancing upon each other, filling each crevice gloriously…
The night is young,
Untainted and over-flowing with our love…
The graceless moon spills Her pallid light upon us,
And we are now consumed by the sheer magnificence of one another…
The way a strand of hair sits beguilingly upon your face,
That irresistible urge to brush it away,
And touch the silken flesh of another…
To kiss those rose-lips of yours one more time…
To satisfy this ruthless hunger for you…
That will arise once more…
All I ask, is for this moment to never end…
Let Night smolder the jealous Sun,
And we will be enveloped in sweet, perpetual darkness…
Forever in this moment,
Lost inside each others eyes,
Hearts rupturing with love,
Lips harmoniously brushing against each other,
In a never-ending kiss…

Even better than the first--searing, immediate, and soulful. Such sweet agony and pleasure intertwined, as this insatiable hunger overtakes you: Untainted and over-flowing with our love… / The graceless moon spills Her pallid light upon us, / And we are now consumed by the sheer magnificence of one another…
I especially like the "graceless moon" from the lines above, as it imbues the lovers with a celestial significance. This love is one for the ages, writ large across the heavens. Long may it live--and even longer may your words live, that they may inspire lovers everywhere. -KAC- |
