Sitting
aching
waiting
on a long pine log
chill in the air
is anyone there?
what a lot of fog
shivering now
f r e e z i n g
for someone to come along
my foot hurts
tremendously
there's no way I could jog
silence everywhere
I feel
no one cares
come and help me
please
else I am
history!

reminds me of my youngest son and my oldest son in boy scouts.. going to climb this huge mountain... oldest wanted to keep climbing, little brother got scared, so big brother gave him his jacket, his lunch and extra snacks, told little brother he would be back down the mountain in 2 hours.. well.. it took more than that, say around 5 or 6 hours... its a good thing his brother helped him out... my two sons, I love them, they are so good to each other... and my young son.. sitting there on the first shelf of the mountain all alone... waiting and waiting..... oh my... God was truly present that day and all days.... bless your poem sweetheart... a beautiful picture in words.... that gave me such a beautiful feeling... and thoughts..
