Clairvoyant You
August 3, 2004

I can't have a secret,
Your mind won't let me keep it.
Before I know what to say,
You're already seeing,
And acting on what it was,
I'd have thought about anyway.
Clairvoyant you,
Always knowing what I'll do,
Can you see my thoughts,
When I hesitate to tell you?

I go feeling vulnerable,
Not wanting my head to be full.
Wondering if you know what I'm thinking,
And will you look without asking?
Can you see my heart linking,
And know I don't want to let go?
Clairvoyant you,
Always knowing what to do.
Can you read what I'm feeling,
But look without stealing?

I don't see the reason, the logic in this,
What makes this special,
If you know before we kiss?
Something tells me you don't see,
How I feel about you and me...
Clairvoyant you,
Always knowing what to do,
I wonder if you knew,
That I love you.
