Denial 7/22/04

I’ve never felt like this before
Yet I deny myself.
You’re my drug…and I’m needing more
Because I can’t stop loving you.

Denying my heart,
Day after day…
And I’m falling apart
In so many ways…

I have no escape,
You’re always on my mind.
Even in my sleep,
You are all I find…

At the sound of your name,
It gets so hard to breath…
I don’t care about the fame,
You’re all that I need…

To drown in your eyes,
Is the perfect disease…
Mesmerized by your gaze,
My mind is at ease…

The taste of your lips,
Is intoxicating me…
I’m drunk on your love,
Why can’t you see?

Denial kills my soul,
Tearing me apart.
But worst of all,
Denial is shattering my heart…
