Still Won't Cry

Contributed by Poetic_Angel on Wednesday, 30th October 2002 @ 05:00:00 AM in AEST
Topic: StoryPoetry

He’s been through the death of people so close
The kind that hurts your heart the most
The ones he love and care for so much
One day is seen; next day can’t touch
And though it’s killing him so deep inside
All those emotions he decides to hide
We both know how hard it is to try
To let go of a loved one you wish didn’t die
Through all his pain I’ve wondered why, why is it that he still wont cry

He’s been through so much yet so young
Anything he says isn’t a slip of the tongue
It’s what he wants to really say
Not the words you wish would come your way
Our words are so deep, I’ve cried when I called
And before I’d go to sleep, through his thoughts my feelings crawled
And when he feels my pain, I know his pain runs deeper
Sometimes I feel my angel tells him, “Don’t you know you have to keep her”
If we ever part eternally & never say goodbye
It makes me want to wonder if he still won’t cry

This is so heartfelt and deep
Some people don't cry in front
of others, but just because you
cannot see them cry doesn't mean
that they don't. Great write.
Keep em' coming

This one is a heart breaker. I try to keep things locked up inside too, that's why I picked up writing... I wonder if he writes in secret to let go of the pain??? Great write! And I am sure, even if he doesn't cry, he would miss you greatly.

You convey perfectly feelings and emotions. You have a great friend. When you don't cry, the tears well up and fill your soul. Be there for him, ok?
Take care.
