There was a time in my life
that I didn't know how to forget.
And there was no way I could let go
of anything I used to know.

That conversation we had
made it all finally clear.
In just 30 minutes you said every single thing
that I never wanted to hear.

It broke my heart,
it made me fall.
You saw me crying,
but did you care at all?

You said the words,
you called out my name.
And suddenly, before I knew
you killed my heart with burning flame.

But overall you taught me a valuable lesson.
So I no longer know what to say ...
the words I still owe you,
or just thanks for giving my life a new way.
