I am ready to settle down
and cherish love forever
Yes indeed my heart is sound
on making life for you better
I want to give you everything
your fond little heart desires
If you will accept this ring,
my purpose becomes inspired.
I want our bond to stand
until the end of time.
I want the world to understand
you are a woman of mine
This proposal has been in existance
since the day our love came to be
Ignore the thought of resistance
and say you will marry me.
