The Need

Topic: AngryPoetry

He'll hold me so close as if everythings ok,
he tells me to hold on just one more day,
but sometimes the pain in my forgotten soul
scream out in desperation,
seeking a hand that understands all.

He'll take me to new places,
and put smiles on my face.
He never knew the void inside,
never held the emptyness so close.
I'm jealous of his innocence,
and the way everything works out.
The knife i knew throbs to be against my skin,
i want the pain to take my worries away.

My life is put on hold,
I put on an act to fool all those around me,
i try to be the world to him.
He holds me close,
telling me to wait anothor day,
he doesnt know the demons
i see when i dream at night.
He doesnt know the hate i feel
when he walks with a smile.
He doesnt know the need to feel a blade
cut the skin.

The tears roll down like rain on the window
i cant feel the hope your trying to give me.

Oh Gery this made me cry.

Let him in, share those deep empty voids for based on what you've wrote he really cares about you.

Sometimes you have to reach out even when you can't feel hope-- it is there.

You know if you ever want to talk to someone say hi anytime.

You've really touched my heart with this soulful write.

Kie

Made me cry too, Kie.

I think you should tell him how you feel. Maybe he'll realize that he's not helping, and he really should be right now.

If you ever need to rant about anything I'm here for you.

Some of us tend to write better when we're upset. Great write.

Blessings
Love, Jenna
