rise and fall

Contributed by dizza_13 on Tuesday, 3rd August 2004 @ 04:12:13 AM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

Highs in life are bliss,
As sweet as loves first kiss,
But falling down will brake and burn,
Your life and soul,
This you are yet to learn.

The higher we rise,
The further we fall.

Torn apart and dumped in the sea,
Is what it feels like to be me,
Crimson tears shinning bright,
Will bring you down without a fight.

The higher we rise,
The further we fall.

The pain of someone you hold dear,
Will bring to life your greatest fears,
For those are which that I have felt,
A friend in need you cannot help.

The higher we rise,
The further we fall.

Very sad, I like how you repeated that line though.

The higher we rise,
The further we fall.

Well done, a great write!

Blessings
Love, Jenna
