It was Him

Contributed by cj_ranson on Tuesday, 3rd August 2004 @ 03:45:36 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Satan was the one who told me
He was the one who broke my heart
He was the one who made me cry
He was the one who could make me die
He was the only one who crushed my spirit
Like it was nothing

He took from me all that was mine
He took from all that was divine
He stole what wasn't his

He made me alone when i needed them most
He made me sad
He made me bad
He makes us like his game
We are nothing

Our souls don't belong to hell
His forsaken call will forever haunt you
There is nothing you can do

I see Good in all
My God are those around me
What makes us happy
Are those we love
I see the white dove
That my God has shown me
Now that you can see
That Satan is what is holding you back

God never left you
He is what keeps you going
Satan is the one who makes you bleed
You are the one who listens too him
