There is violance on the street
There are pot-holes under my feet
Blame it on the moon
There are people who have nothing to eat
No good jobs in which to seek
Blame it on the moon
There drugs within our schools
There are police not obeying the rules
Blame it on the moon
There are terriorist in our land
While gas prices steal from our hand
Blame it on the moon
Blame it on the moon
The escape goat for the day
Just don’t point a finger at a politician
As you go about your way
They don’t have time
For such small things
They are on recess
As the fat lady sings
