The Song of a Rose
Out in a garden
Where love is true
Lies a special flower
From me to you
A rose like this
Is a delicacy
It’s like a feeling
Only found in a dream
Once you lay
Your eyes upon this treasure
Your heart will open
A distance you can’t measure
You’ll hear it sing
In the soft breeze
It’ll then take over you
Like a disease
Love will flow
Through your veins
Touching your soul
You’ll never be the same
It speaks of love
And it does not lie
It’ll tell you in song
A soft lullaby
So peaceful and unique
To find such a prize
To dance around in the sun
To see beauty with your eyes
We all need to have
A rose like mine
Then our lives would makes sense
Our words would rhyme
Take a chance
And love the gift
From the hands of God
You won’t want to miss
Out in a garden
Where love is true
Lies a special flower
From God to you.

My dear Cuz I am so glad you are into writing poetry like me. It is such a great way to express yourself or just be creative. This poem touched my heart and it made me shed a few tears. Keep it up Lynn!!!!!!!
