You have made me open my heart up again,
and to sense the pleasure that has entered into my life.
To be aroused to feel the emotion of deep love within my soul.
To share this vulnerability is something that I have not felt in a long time.
It has been awaken through the words that you have expressed to me.
It is so hard for me to believe that I can be intimate and passionate
with another human being.
I have kept myself closed up and hidden by the glass wall I have built around me.
Because of this I have only been able to look through the barrier, as life goes by.
Not experiencing love, understanding, and warmth from another person.
God knows I was longing for someone to demonstrate their wanting of me.
For me to acknowledge that I needed to feel capable of being in love with someone.
You have given me back something that I have not felt in a long time.
You have demonstrated to me that I am worth the love of another person,
just being who I am.
Thank you.

This poem is good as it tells of romance between a man and a woman from the wonan's side and how grateful she is to find the right man. |
