Your smile brings pain that your not mine
I try to tell myself we just need time,
But I need you now, I yearn for you,
The love I feel I know is true,
Do I tell you? Or let it slide,
The last time my friend asked I know I lied,
I told her you meant nothing, another little boy,
A lonely heart for a little girl to destroy,
But my heart beats faster when you’re near,
My knees just shake and I’m weak with fear,
You make me feel like everything’s fine,
But when will you ever be mine,
I know I’m being greedy, but the world for you I’d give,
You own my dreams, you own my heart and it’s for you that I live,
