About a Girl

Topic: dedicatedpoems

She fell over
No one even looked
Only heard
Her cry

And so the wounds healed
But scars are left
Never healed right
And so it shows
She still remembers
And is afraid
To stand, to walk
Doesn't want to fall
Not again
Not ever again
They can laugh
Cos they don't understand
Pain isn't easily forgoten
And so it remains

But it's ok
Life's ok
She'll be ok
Hope is not lost
Merely caught up
With happyness
Together they walk the track
And soon scars will be
Seen for what they are
Leaving time for life
Cos life shouldn't be
A string of reaccuring pain
But a length of happenings
To help pass time
With a smile, not upside down

Before she fell
They saw
And they caught her
Before she hit the floor
Crying was not necesary
Not anymore

Sometimes pain is our most revealing scar. At times it can be hidden, then at other times it's displayed for the whole world to see. I understand all about pain!
