Could this be the end of it all?
Or is this just another time I fall
Maybe I will get back up
Maybe I won’t refill the cup
I have the choice, to end the strife
Or just keep on living my lonely life
Should I let go of who I am
And let my life become a sham
Too many decisions I have to make
I don’t know which road I should take
How much harder can this get
I’m ready to plunge into an endless pit
Pain and sadness, I can’t bare
Why is life so unfair
I’ve tried so hard to make things good
But nothing turns out like it should
Oh, how I wish to just run away
Just escape even for just one day
Leave the pain all behind
Maybe there would be peace I could find
I guess I’ll hold on for one more day
Until I find a good way
To live my life the best I can
That will be my only plan

Know how you feel Crimson. Moments like you've described tend to be part of all of us at one time or another - and they keep on being there as a reminder of how wonderful joy is, and the work that needs doing to achieve it. I've just posted a poem I wrote 30 years ago -fortunately I've kept all my writings so that I may recall where I have been.
