What Has Been Done

Suicide

I looked around
My walls of hatred
I notice all
Mistakes I did
I’m feeling weak
Like a puppet on a string
No control
Of what my actions can bring
I’m invisible
To my own self
I never heard my cry
The cry for help
I close my eyes
And tears run down
Soaking my face
I’m going to drown
I hold the knife
Tight in my hand
I want to be forgotten
I want to leave this land
I hear them fighting
The voice in my head
They once tore me apart
But now they’ll be dead
When you first touched me
I wanted to be loved
I wanted to have a feeling
That was from above
But then you tricked me
Into thinking you loved me
Its was so easy
For me to believe
But you brought me to a party
And you had too much fun
Now I'm pregnant
And you yelled look what you have done
I can’t love a child
That was made from you
I can’t love myself
That’s the sad truth
You killed me
My spirit is gone
Only my body remains
I can’t hold on
I grip the knife tightly
In my right hand
I just lost my life
Because of a horrible man…

love it. you've captured how horrible some teenage boys are and what run through a teenage girl's head. one of your good capture-a-girl's-heart poems.
Love you bunches! ashley rene' |
